The Parasite Pack is designed to be used in addition to our Healthy Pet Club to provide gold standard preventative health care for your pet. However, the Parasite Pack can be purchased in isolation.
- The Parasite Pack provides an annual supply of parasite treatment as prescribed by the vet. Knutsford Veterinary Surgery offer two options controlling:
- Fleas, lice, gastrointestinal worms, lungworm, earmites, demodex and sarcoptes – a monthly spot on with quarterly tablet or
- Fleas, ticks and gastrointestinal worms – quarterly oral medication
- The Parasite Pack cannot be purchased in conjunction with any other offer being run by Knutsford Veterinary Surgery with the exception of the Adult Healthy Pet Club.
- The Parasite Pack applies only to the prescribed animal and is not transferable between pets.
- A patient must already be registered with Knutsford Veterinary Surgery and have been examined within the last 6 months to be eligible for The Parasite Pack.
- When purchasing The Parasite Pack, please inform the prescribing vet if you are currently using any topical (those applied to the skin) treatments or shampoos on your pet.
- Care must be taken to ensure that the correct pet is given the correct medication to prevent overdosing or intoxication. Please ask the vet if you are unsure of anything.
- It is your responsibility to ensure that all medication is stored out of the reach of children and pets.
- It is the responsibility of the person administering the treatment that they fully understand the instructions and recommendations of the prescribing vet. If you need assistance please do not hesitate to speak to a member of staff.
- The Parasite Pack is payable annually at the time treatment is dispensed.
- Whilst Knutsford Veterinary Surgery will endeavour to send treatment reminders to clients, it remains your responsibility to follow dosage instructions properly and precisely, always reading the instructions before use.
- Incorrect dosage could be potentially detrimental to your pet’s health and Knutsford Veterinary Surgery cannot be held liable in this instance.
