Tell us a bit about you
I joined the team here at Knutsford in October 2023, having previously worked within the veterinary industry for 10 years . I have a particular interest in cats.
At home I have 2 Shih Tzu dogs, and 2 cats, one of which I hand reared.
Have you ever treated an unusual pet or species?
I once assisted a vet with surgery on a tortoise to remove a mass.
Do you have any qualifications or additional training?
Level 3 Diploma in Veterinary Nursing – Qualified as a registered veterinary nurse in 2019, currently studying ISFM certificate in feline nursing.
What does your job entail on a day-to-day basis?
My Job is very varied, from preparing patients for surgery, monitoring anaesthetics, caring for inpatients, running diagnostic tests, radiography and nurse clinics.
What do you enjoy most about your job?
I love all aspects of my job from nursing the animals to offering support and advice to their owners too.

What other interests do you have outside of work?
Outside of work I enjoy baking, socialising with my friends and family and travelling.

I enjoy walks through Macclesfield forest, and particularly up Shutlingsloe.
