About Holly

Tell us a bit about you

I joined Knutsford Vets when we first opened in 2014 and have been a senior member of the nursing team ever since.  I enjoy all aspects of veterinary nursing, but I have a particular interest in dermatology and consulting.  I love building relationships with clients and their pets, offering support and guidance to help them make informed decisions about their pet’s healthcare.

What are your qualifications and interests?

I qualified with a degree in Veterinary Nursing in 2007. Since then, I have completed additional training in anaesthesia and dermatology.  I am currently studying for my Advanced Diploma in Practice Nursing, which I hope to complete in summer 2026.

What Pets do you have?

At home, I have a young working Cocker Spaniel called Walter.  He certainly keeps me busy! We are currently doing lots of training together, and he keeps me active and on my toes.

What’s your dream Holiday/travel location?

My dream travel experience would be to tour the New 7 Wonders of the World, which would be incredible to see them all in person.

What’s your favourite wild animal?

When it comes to wildlife, I have a few favourites.  I love the playful nature of otters and could happily watch them for hours.  I’m also fascinated by whales; they are so majestic and mysterious.

What is your favourite thing about Knutsford?

One of my favourite things about Knutsford is exploring Tatton Park and then heading into town for a coffee and cake afterwards.

What do you enjoy doing outside of work?

Outside of work, I enjoy walking in the Lake District and the Peak District, visiting National Trust sites, and spending time with family and friends.  In the summer, I love spending time in the garden, and during the colder months, I enjoy researching my family genealogy.
