About Caroline
Tell us a bit about you
I started at the beginning of April 2025 and previously worked at a Veterinary Cardiology Referral practice.
As much as I enjoyed learning about Cardiology, I really missed using more of my nursing skills and being in general practice, so I felt it was time for a change. Before becoming a Veterinary Nurse, I was a long-haul cabin crew for 14 years, quite a career change! I’ve always been a huge animal lover, so the job was the perfect fit for me.
Do you have any qualifications or additional training?
I have a Certificate in Nursing Anaesthesia and am currently completing the Advanced Nursing Anaesthesia Certificate. I love anaesthesia and analgesia, cardiology and nursing inpatient care. I especially enjoy caring for senior pets.
What pets do you have?
I have an 11 year old whippet called Norman and a 10 year old Dalmatian cross Whippet called Rupert.
What’s your dream Holiday/travel location?
Cape Town, I also would love to do a safari one day!
What’s your favourite wild animal?
Giraffes, I’m obsessed.
What is your favourite thing about Knutsford?
Tatton Park, such a beautiful place to walk the dogs. I also love the café Detaljer, they do the best flat white coffees ever!
What do you enjoy outside of work?
Horse riding when I get the chance, walking with the dogs (especially at the beach!), reading and spending time with my friends and family.
Favourite Movie or song?
The Horse Whisperer.
