About Melissa
Tell us a bit about you
Hi, I’m Melissa the Operations Manager here at the practice. I make sure everything runs smoothly behind the scenes so our team can focus on providing the best care possible. My background is in finance where I worked for over 10 years. Now, my problem solving and organisation skills allow me to keep things on track when it comes to the general day to day running of the practice.
Do you have any qualifications or additional training?
I hold an AAT Level 3 qualification, a National Certificate in Animal Management, and I’m also a trained Senior Fire Marshal. I enjoy problem solving, analysing data, credit control, and always look forward to hearing about the interesting cases our clinical team are working on.
What pets do you have?
At the moment I own a fish tank, I’d love a cat in the future so watch this space!
What’s your dream Holiday/travel location?
My dream holiday destination would have to be Hawaii, the beautiful nature and a cocktail on the beach would be a dream.
What’s your favourite wild animal?
I love big cats, especially lions I think they are incredibly majestic.
What is your favourite thing about Knutsford?
I love the Cheshire country side, nice walks in Tatton and grabbing a bite to eat in one of the many local pubs and restaurants.
What do you enjoy outside of work?
Spending time with family and friends, reading, being outdoors, hiking, cycling and recently started kayaking and padel tennis.
