Tell us a bit about you
I have been in the industry for nearly 20 years and started with Knutsford Vets in December 2023 in a new role; ‘Head of Client Care’.
I got married in October 2023, and have two step-sons and two cats to keep me busy when I’m not at work.
Have you ever treated an unusual pet or species?
The most interesting animal I have seen in practice is a wallaby. Not your everyday pet!
Do you have any qualifications or additional training?
I am looking forward to starting my course in Veterinary Leadership & Management in the summer.
What does your job entail on a day-to-day basis?
I am responsible for our wonderful reception team. We are here to provide a warm welcome, answer client queries, book appointments and much more. I also submit insurance claims on behalf of our clients and complete general administration duties to keep the practice running smoothly. Not forgetting a cuddle or two with our lovely four-legged clients.
What do you enjoy most about your job?
Getting to know our clients and their pets on a more personal level. We love to have a chat and catch up when we haven’t seen someone for a while.

What other interests do you have outside of work?
Reading, catching up with friends and family, and the occasional horse ride.
