Jazmin Leake RVN

I joined the Knutsford Vets team in November 2024 after working in a busy referral hospital. In my spare time, I am an enthusiastic gardener. I am also kept busy by my two beautiful children who also enjoy being outdoors. Growing up, I had lots of animals including chickens, cats, dogs, rats, African Pygmy Hedgehogs, guinea pigs and tortoises to name a few. This is how my love for animals started at a young age.

In 2015, I gained my Level 2 in Veterinary Nursing Assistant qualification whilst working in a busy veterinary hospital. Following this, I started my Veterinary Nursing training and qualified in 2017 as a Registered Veterinary Nurse.

I have a keen interest in anaesthesia, internal medicine and cardiology, and plan on doing my certificate in one of these subjects in the near future. I love keeping up to date with the latest anaesthesia knowledge via courses, Webinars, books etc. and strive to give my best to each and every patient that crosses my path.

At home, I’ve got 2 Shih-Tzu’s called Paddington and Poe, 4 rescue cats called Amber, Oscar, Ruby and Princess and a pond full of goldfish!

I’m a bit of a home bird so I haven’t travelled much, however, I have always liked the idea of traveling around America, especially visiting New York at Christmas time, yhat is definitely on my bucket list.

My favourite wild animal has got to be hedgehogs, I love hedgehogs! I love anything to do with nature.

I grew up in Knutsford so I am very familiar with the town. I have a lot of lovely memories, mostly from Tatton Park. Me and my children love venturing around Tatton and visiting the farm animals they have there. Knutsford also has some lovely places to eat!

Outside of work, I am an avid gardener. I love exploring new garden centres and spending time outdoors with my family and pets.
